ACT and ADM Present Free Food Operation to Gresik Residents

As a form of care for the underprivileged residents during the pandemic, ACT Gresik partnered with ADM to carry out Free Food Operation in Karangkering Village.

ACTNews, GRESIK – Humanitarian collaborations between ACT and various parties in food fulfillment are continuously carried out amid the pandemic. On Tuesday (10/26/2021), ACT Gresik and ADM, a company focused on advancing global nutrition and food, carried out Free Food Operation for residents in Karangkering Village, Kobomas District, Gresik Regency, East Java.

Both parties prepared 100 food packages including rice, cooking oil, wheat flour, salt, sardines, tea, sugar, and soy sauce in each package.

“We want to thank ACT for this collaboration. Hopefully, this program can be beneficial and ease the residents’ burden,” said Alsik, Manager of ADM Gresik.

Alsik says that the collaboration has been around for a long time and wishes for it to be continued to help more impoverished people affected by the pandemic.

Furthermore, Muhammad Rustam Afandi from ACT Gresik Program team expressed his gratitude for the successful collaboration with ADM. He hopes for the Free Food Operation to be able to build solidarity in the society.
