ACTNews, BEKASI - Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bekasi and JNE Bekasi dispatched humanitarian aid for victims of the Mount Semeru eruption. The team dispatched 5 tons of staple foods from the ACT Bekasi office.
According to the Branch Manager of ACT Bekasi, Rizky Renanda, the assistance from JNE Bekasi was support for communities affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru. It was not the first time JNE had collaborated with ACT in humanitarian action.
"Alhamdulillah, today, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency sent 5 tons of aid which was dispatched using two trucks to victims of the Mount Semeru eruption," said Rizky Renanda, Friday (12/17/2021).
Rizky stated that other donors also donated to the victim of the Semeru eruption. The collection has taken place since December 4, 2021.
"Donation collection has been ongoing since the beginning of the disaster. 7, we could collect and dispatch up to five tons of aid,” he said.
ACT and JNE Bekasi provided rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, and other staple foods for the survivors. “Hopefully, his assistance will assist victims in not having to worry about their food needs during difficult times," hoped Rizky.
Head of Sales and Marketing of JNE Ekspres Bekasi, Nadia Kusuma, thanked ACT Bekasi Raya for trusting JNE Ekspres Bekasi as a partner to carry out the process of sending the assistance. "Hopefully, from this assistance, it can be useful for the people affected there," he concluded.
