ACTNews, JEMBER – The Implementation of the Java-Bali Emergency Public Activity Restriction Enforcement (PPKM) on Saturday (7/3/2021) has a major impact on the lives Indonesians. Many community activities have been restricted, which has resulted in a declining economy.

Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) endeavors to provide humanitarian assistance to residents affected by PPKM. In Jember, for example, since the first day of PPKM, food packages assistance has been distributed to underprivileged residents.

Zaky Noerahman, Branch Manager of ACT Jember, said the event was supported by National Food Alms Movement. Waqf Rice and Waqf Drinking Water were distributed to people in Jember. These two products are products of waqf fund management.

"We are targeting daily workers such as laborers, rickshaw drivers, public transport drivers, orphans, widows, and other underprivileged residents," said Zaky, Tuesday (7/6/2021).

Until July 20, ACT Jember will continue to strive to bring the best for the community. Zaky added that they have added aid supplies in the Jember warehouse.

ACT is supported by volunteers of Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) in distributing the aid. They are always ready to help the community, including during emergency PPKM.[]
