ACTNews, AMBON – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) together with Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) Maluku distributed hundreds of free meal packages for daily workers in the Mardika Market area, Ambon City. The students and teachers of Muhammadiyah Middle School in Ambon City also participated in the activity on Friday (2/18/2022).
The action this time targeted daily workers, such as pedicab drivers, traders with carts, road cleaners, and impoverished residents. "Alhamdulillah, this Friday, we continue to share free meals for daily workers. We were grateful that many people participated in helping in this good action, including Muhammadiyah Junior High School,” said Branch Manager of ACT Maluku, Wahab Loilatu.
Munawir Difinubun, Head of Public Relations Affairs of Muhammadiyah Junior High School, stated that they chose to collaborate with ACT because ACT could accommodate this assistance and deliver it to the appropriate beneficiaries. "Hopefully, this action will be beneficial to the beneficiaries and the students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School," Munawir said.
Wahab also invited Generous Friends to care for one another in difficult times. "In today's difficult conditions, we must share. However, we cannot do it alone. Therefore, we invite philanthropists to join us in our support. Benefactors can send their donation through the Indonesia Dermawan website, through Bank Syariah Indonesia account 7164 170 858, Bank Muamalat account 8710 222 222, or direct visit our branch office at Jalan Rijali No. 20, Amantelu Village, Sirimau District, Indonesia," explained Wahab.
