ACTNews, PANGKAL PINANG – New cases of Covid-19 are still being found in Pangkal Pinang. Many people who have been exposed to Covid-19 come from underprivileged backgrounds. They need special attention and care so that they recover quickly and do not infect others.

Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bangka continues to assist self-isolating residents with humanitarian assistance. In the fourth week of August, ACT Bangka team distributed packages containing food packages, vitamins, masks, and hand sanitizers to self-isolating residents.

"Alhamdulillah, we continue to help self-isolating people and who are affected by the pandemic. Hopefully, the situation will improve soon, and we keep healthy,” said Taufik from ACT Bangka Program team.

In the distribution process, the team delivered directly to their houses by strictly following health protocol to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Through a WhatsApp message, the residents expressed their gratitude to the benefactor through ACT. "Thank you, I hope everyone is always healthy and in the protection of Allah," said Ayu, one of the residents, through her short message.[]
