ACTNews, BEKASI – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bekasi Raya, a humanitarian organization, has launched a new initiative to eradicate poverty. This breakthrough occurred due to Bekasi Berwakaf Movement, with the main theme 'Bekasi Berwakaf Movement: Alms Begin at Ten Thousand Rupiah.'
Bekasi Berwakaf Movement runs several humanitarian programs, including the construction of Waqf Wells, the renovation of uninhabitable houses, and the provision of Quran waqf assistance to Bekasi students. It is hoped that this movement will move many people's hearts, particularly those in Bekasi city and municipality.
"The Bekasi Berwakaf movement represents our concern for the Bekasi people, who are still in distress. One of the goals of this movement is to build Waqf Wells because there are still areas in northern Bekasi that do not have access to clean water. Every day, they must use dirty river water for their household needs. This movement arose from that," Rizky Renanda, Branch Manager of ACT Bekasi Raya, stated on Tuesday (5/17/2022).
This movement has begun, with one of the first steps being to raise funds for several areas in Bekasi City on Friday (5/13/2022). Rizky hopes that all aspects of society can work together to assist one another, particularly those in Bekasi who are still experiencing various difficulties.
"Benefactors can also easily participate through the Indonesia Dermawan website. Hopefully, with our care, we will be able to assist those in need," hoped Rizky.
