ACTNews, SRAGEN, BALIKPAPAN, AND CIREBON – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) continues to enliven the preparation for the month of Ramadan through its branches. In Sragen, through the ACT Branch in Solo, a story-telling activity was held at the Nurul Huda Islamic School in Sambungmacan, Friday (3/11/2022). Quran copies and meals were also distributed during the event.

Nining from the ACT Solo Program Department said that this activity is the beginning of kindness that will continue to be amplified during Ramadan. The target beneficiaries will also continue to expand through various humanitarian programs, one of which is the construction of Waqf Wells.

"Under the ‘Kan Ramadhan’ campaign, we want to invite everyone to compete in doing goodness during Ramadan,” explained Nining.

The ACT Branch in East Kalimantan also held special activities to welcome the blessed month. The team and the volunteers from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia cleaned Al-Hikmah Mosque in Pinisi Village, Kelandasan, Balikpapan, Sunday (3/13/2022). Students from the local Quran school also took part in this activity.

"This activity is part of the Back to Mosque movement that ACT echoes to invite people to enliven mosques during Ramadan and afterward," said the ACT East Kalimantan Branch Manager Imron Fitri Tantowi.

Meanwhile, in Cirebon, the local ACT branch visited the disability and elderly communities, Wednesday (3/9/2022). They come from various backgrounds but suffer the same difficulties caused by the pandemic.

“We handed over donations to people with disabilities. Hopefully, we can uplift their spirit in the advent of Ramadan that occurs during the pandemic," said Faza from the ACT Cirebon Partnership team. []
