ACTNews, NORTH ACEH  – Towards the end of 2021, donations from the community continue to flow even though the Covid-19 pandemic affects the community's economy. The economic impact seems invisible because goodness continues to flow through alms.

ACT distributed community alms by building a study center and waqf well in Ceumeucet Village, Kuta Makmur, North Aceh. On Thursday (12/2/2021), Aksi Cepat Tanggap and Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) inaugurated the Study Center and Waqf Well in Darul Quran.

"This is a tangible manifestation of the power of alms from all benefactors. The Quran Learning Center, which was previously uninhabitable, is now much better and has its water source,” said Hidayatullah, Branch Manager of ACT Lhokseumawe.

Students, residents, teachers, ACT team, and MRI North Utara, and Lhokseumawe volunteers attended the inauguration of this new Quran learning center. A good response came from the community because Darul Quran Study Center is one of the Islamic Boarding Schools for Quran Memorizers.

"May Allah repay all the kindness of Generous Friends," said Ustaz Taharuddin as Founder of Darul Quran Study Center.

Before the renovation, the condition of the study hall, established in 2010, was no longer fit for use. Woods supported the main building to prevent it from collapsing. They used palm leaves as the roof. Students also relied on puddle water for ablution. There was no water source at that time.[]
