ACT Distributes Food Aid to Tidal Floods Survivors in Ancol

Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) North Jakarta distributed food aid to flood survivors in Ancol Village, North Jakarta. Floods inundated roads and affected the people living on the side of the road.

ACTNews, JAKARTA – Tidal floods had inundated several areas on the coast of North Jakarta. One of them is on Jalan Lodan Raya and Jalan Lodan Dalam, Ancol Village, Pademangan District. Floods inundated roads on Saturday (12/4/2021).

Vehicles could not pass Lodan Raya road. Hence, drivers had to go through another way. In addition, the puddle of water also affected the residents who live around the road.

To respond to this condition, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) North Jakarta sent food aid to the Public Kitchen for the tidal flood disaster in the Ancol area. The assistance arrived on Tuesday (12/7/2021) night.


Officers of Ancol Village received the assistance. Enah, Head of Ancol Village, expressed her appreciation for this assistance. “Thanks to ACT for its assistance in providing public kitchens in Ancol Village for tidal flood survivors," she said.

Sudirman, Executive Partnership of ACT North Jakarta, also expressed his gratitude to the benefactors who entrusted their trust through ACT North Jakarta. "Insha Allah, we can help survivors of the tidal flood through the assistance entrusted to ACT North Jakarta. Thanks to Generous Friends who have entrusted their best assistance," concluded Sudirman.
