ACT Fulfills Food Needs of Self-Isolating Residents in Tasikmalaya

ACTNews, TASIKMALAYA – The Covid-19 Pandemic has yet to end. There are many confirmed cases and fatalities caused by the Covid-19. In this situation, people have to take care of and support each other.

Responding to the difficult situation, ACT-MRI Tasikmalaya team distributed food aid to the underprivileged people who were self-isolating, Monday (7/12/2021). The distribution under the Free Food Operation program was carried out in Tawang District, a COVID-19 red zone with many self-isolating residents.

Muhammad Fauzi Ridwan from ACT Tasikmalaya Program team said that the distribution of Free Food Operation was carried out quickly with help from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) volunteers, Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI), and Indonesian Police (Polri).

Alhamdulillah, a total of 200 food packages were distributed to self-isolating residents in the implementation of Free Food Operation. Apart from MRI volunteers, TNI and Polri were also assisting us during the distribution. Thank you,” said Fauzi, Monday (7/12/2021).

Rohman, Head of Tawang District, thanked ACT for providing food aid for his self-isolating residents. He hoped the assistance could motivate the residents to recover and resume their normal activities.
