ACTNews, BANDUNG – At the age of 24, Ustazah Sri continues to memorize the Quran. The woman from West Bandung is also a Quran teacher and runs a traditional cassava processed food business. Despite having an imperfect physical condition, she does not lose her enthusiasm to continue memorizing Quran.

On Wednesday (8/25/2021), Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI)Volunteers had the opportunity to visit Ustazah Sri's residence in Cipongkor. ACT and MRI teams handed over an appreciation from generous donors to Ustazah Sri. The given assistance was in the form of food packages and business capital.

"Thank you for the appreciation. This money is enough for us to run our business,” said Ustazah Sri.

Ustazah Sri teaches the Quran at one of the madrasas in the Gombong area, Cililin. The location is quite far from her house. She used to travel by a regular motorcycle taxi accompanied by her sibling so that her body did not fall from the vehicle.

"This appreciation is a form of ACT's commitment in assisting teachers and preachers," said Branch Manager of ACT Bandung Trisna Adi Permana.[]
