ACT’s Humanity Rice Truck Provides Free Rice to Bogor Residents

ACTNews, BOGOR – Aksi Cepat Tanggap through Humanity Rice Truck continues to expand goodness to the community. This time, the residents of Cibunian Village, Pamijahan, Bogor Regency were targeted as the recipients of free rice distribution.

Assisted by the volunteers of Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI), ACT distributed 300 packages of Waqf Rice to underprivileged residents in Cibunian Village, Friday (7/30/2021). At 1 p.m Western Indonesian Time, the volunteers were getting ready to carry out the rice distribution to avoid crowds.

Khisnul Hasanah from ACT Bogor Program Team explained that the distribution went smoothly. She also delivered gratitude from the head of local RT and the surrounding community for the assistance provided. "The residents and the head of RT thanked the donors and benefactors. Alhamdulillah, they are enthusiastic about receiving assistance from ACT,” said Khisnul.

ACT’s Humanity Rice Truck aims to provide innovative free rice service to the people in need. The Rice Truck procurement was considering ACT’s role which often supports the community’s food needs, especially rice as the community's staple food.[]
