ACTNews, JAKARTA – The commitment of ACT and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in saving the nation from the pandemic through mobile vaccination program continues to be optimized by extending the service hour until the evening.
At 4 p.m Western Indonesian Time, ACT’s Humanity Medical Service team had been ready in Srengseng Sawah Village, South Jakarta, Tuesday (8/31/2021). The team was also assisted by healthcare workers from the Public Health Center of Srengseng Sawah Village.
“Alhamdulillah, this extended service hour of this mobile vaccination is our effort to support the government’s vaccination target. We decide to extend the service hour until evening to accommodate residents who can’t be vaccinated in the morning and afternoon since they have to work,” said Dr. Arini Retno Palupi, Head of ACT’s Humanity Medical Services.
Dr. Arini revealed that 250 residents have been vaccinated through this mobile vaccination program in Srengseng Sawah Village. “Alhamdulillah, we are also grateful for the residents who enthusiastically participated in this vaccination program,” she said.
Previously, as of August 28, 2021, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government recorded a total of 9.6 million residents of Jakarta have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 5.3 million have been vaccinated for the 2nd dose.
