ACTNews, JAKARTA – Mobile vaccination that is carried out by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and DKI Jakarta Provincial Government since early August 2021 continues to be carried ut until now.
Head of ACT’s Humanity Medical Services Dr. Arini Retno Palupi revealed that the collaboration between ACT and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is an effort in accelerating the community’s herd immunity.
“Insha Allah, our collaboration with the government is a form of solidarity among the civil society amid the Covid-19 pandemic. We are glad that apparently, the active cases have been declining while people start to be aware of the importance of vaccination,” said Dr. Arini, Friday (9/24/2021).
It is recorded that the mobile vaccination has benefited 2,436 residents of DKI Jakarta in various administrative areas which also targets various age groups ranging from the elderly, adults, and teenagers over 12 years old.
“Currently, we are serving the Astrazeneca and Sinovac types of vaccine. However, today, we will also carry out special training for Pfizer type vaccination with DKI Jakarta Health Agency as the vaccine requires special treatment compared to the others,” explained Dr. Arini.
Dr. Arini explains that vaccination is important for everyone to reduce the risk of severe disease symptoms and mortality if being exposed to the Covid-19. “On behalf of ACT’s Humanity Medical Services Team, I urge the community to immediately come to the nearest vaccination booths. Insha Allah, this is part of our joint effort to live in a better condition," she concluded.
