ACT’s Oxygen Cylinder Helps an Elderly with Bronchial Asthma

The oxygen cylinder from ACT’s Covid-19 Medical Careline Services has helped an elderly man with bronchial asthma in Bantarjaya, Bogor Regency.

ACTNews, BOGOR REGENCY – There was an incoming call to the telemedicine team of ACT’s Covid-19 Medical Careline Services that turned out to be a request for oxygen cylinder assistance for one of their family member who had difficulty in breathing.

Without a long waiting, ACT’s Covid-19 Medical Careline Services Team immediately went by ambulance to visit Mr. R in Bantarjaya Village, Rancabungur District, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (8/25/2021).

Mr. R has been suffered from bronchial asthma which is a medical condition that causes the airway path of the lungs to swell and narrow, for a while. He was having difficulty breathing followed by coughing, shortness of breath, and wheezing.

Alhamdulillah, after consulting with ACT doctors through video call. The patient was immediately given medical treatment in the form of injections of intravenous fluids with the help of large oxygen tubes. We also provided medicines for him," said Sutikno Pribadi, a nurse of ACT’s Covid-19 Medical Careline Services.

The family of Mr. R was very grateful for the quick and effective service provided by ACT’s Covid-19 Medical Careline Services. “Alhamdulillah, thank you very much for coming all the way and giving free medical service to our family member, also please pray for his recovery," said a family member of Mr. R.
