ACT Tasikmalaya Presents a Comfortable House for Komar

At his old age, Komar has to scavenge for scraps to make ends meet. at the landfills of Ciangir, Tasikmalaya. After work, Komar continues his activities by taking care of his wife who has been sick for the past year at his house.

ACTNews, TASIKMALAYA – Komar, an elderly resident of Ciangir, Tamansari, Tasikmalaya City is happy. His semi-permanent house is currently under reconstruction by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Tasikmalaya.

He is a tough man who never complains about his condition. Amid his busy activity as a scavenger at the landfills of Ciangir, Tasikmalaya, Komar also takes good care of his wife who has been sick this past year. However, Komar did everything with patience and sincerity without any complaint.

Alhamdulillah, I am just enjoying all the blessings that Allah has given me,” said Komar gratefully.

In addition, amid all of the limitations and trials in his life, Komar also has long suffered from a hernia, but his illness is barely treated due to economic difficulties. Even to fulfill his daily food needs, he has to work hard.

Knowing the struggles of Komar, ACT Tasikmalaya endeavors to assist him. Apart from reconstructing his house, ACT brought Komar to a medical facility for treatments, including initial check-up, surgery, and recovery treatments.

“Eight days after the surgery, Komar’s condition got better and recovered. Now, ACT Tasikmalaya is continuing the house reconstruction for Komar and his wife.
