ACTNews, LEMBATA – The best Qurbani meat from Indonesian benefactors through Global Qurban- ACT cheered impoverished families and disaster survivors in Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
At Eid-ul Adha 2021, Global Qurban distributed 50 heads of cattle to residents of East Nusa Tenggara. The slaughter of Qurbani animals was carried out in two locations, namely Wailolong Village and Balauring Village, Omesuri District, Lembata Regency.
Lukman Solehudin, Coordinator of Monitoring and Evaluation Global Qurban-ACT for East Flores and Lembata Regions, said that the distribution of Qurbani meat reached areas in Omesuri District: Wailolong Village, Balauring Village, Hingallamamengi Village, Mahal I Village, Mahal II Village, Hoelea I Village, Hoelea II, Leudanung Village, Walangsawah Village, and other villages.
“Alhamdulillah, on Tashreeq days, Global Qurban-ACT succeeded in distributing the best Qurbani meat in Lembata Regency. This is part of our efforts to support people on the outer islands," said Lukman, Thursday (22/7).
Lukman hopes that this Qurbani meat can help the food needs of underprivileged communities and disaster survivors.
“We would like to say thank you to Indonesian benefactors. The residents were happy when they received Qurbani meat. Insha Allah, this will become our good deeds in the hereafter," said Lukman.
