ACTNews, SEMARANG REGENCY Rohani Panjaitan, a volunteer of Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI)-ACT Semarang Regency, initiates Miscellaneous Bazaar to help people in need. The bazaar is named miscellaneous because they sell many different kinds of things in the market.

Currently, Miscellaneous Bazaar is selling secondhand clothes that are still decent starting from IDR 5 to 10 thousand. People can even pay as they wish for certain types of clothes.

“Actually, these secondhand clothes were initially provided for the Terrace of Alms–a sharing medium which is also initiated by me. However, the number of collected clothes has been too much, while the most urgent need at Terrace of Alms is actually food aid. Thus, we strive to resell these clothes to maximize the benefits we can receive to help others,” said Rohani, Tuesday (8/31/2021).

The result of Miscellaneous Bazaar will be allocated as an additional fund to provide food aid at the Terrace of Alms. Rohani is also assisted by women from the local Family Welfare Program who become the marketing team at Miscellaneous Bazaar.

Rohani Panjaitan initiates the Terrace of Alms in Macanan Hamlet, RT 01 RW 05 No.40 Karangtengah Village, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency. This Terrace of Alms is a sharing platform with a self-service concept that synergizes with Miscellaneous Bazaar.[]
