ACTNews, BANDUNG – Commemorating National Teacher's Day, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), and PT Daesang Agung Indonesia assisted teachers throughout Bandung and its surroundings. The beneficiaries were teachers from kindergarten to high school. ACT also collaborated with Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia Peduli, Forum Osis SMK Jawa Barat, dan Himpunan Pendidikan dan Tenaga Kependidikan Anak Usia Dini Indonesia.

Wina Siti Maesaroh, Branch Manager of ACT Bandung, said assistance for teachers in commemoration of National Teacher’s Day was a form of concern from ACT and benefactors for these unsung heroes. Moreover, many teachers live in poverty. Thus, we have to help and pay attention to them. They all have struggled to make a great next generation.

“When taking action, the ACT team often meets impoverished teachers with low income. However, they never complain about their struggle. The teachers have the spirit of educating their students. Hence, their students can pursue their dreams,” said Wina.

ACT will implement the benefit of this good collaboration in several schools in the city and municipality of Bandung. A warm welcome also came from the teachers.

“Thank you for the assistance provided by ACT and all those who support this action. Hopefully, this program will be an inspiration for others,” said one teacher at Junior High School (SMP) 4 Bandung.[]
