ACTNews, JAKARTA – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), and the Provincial Government of Jakarta endeavor to save the nation from the Covid-19 pandemic through the mobile vaccination program. One of the targeted areas was Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Sunday (8/15/2021).
In the morning, ACT’s Humanity Medical Service Team was on stand by at Jami Al-Makmur Mosque, Jalan Raden Saleh No. 30, to carry out the vaccination to the residents of Cikini and its surrounding area. The vaccination was also attended by the Head of Cikini Village who reviewed the activity.
“On this mobile vaccination, we target 150 vaccine recipients both from the age range of 12 and 18 years old above. For the types of vaccines, we provide both Astrazeneca and Sinovac ones,” said Dr. Hendi Tri Atmoko, the ACT’s Humanity Medical Services representative.
The success of this mobile vaccination involved various parties including the Menteng District Health Center, Menteng District DMI, DKI Jakarta Kesbangpol, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Communication and Information, Menteng Metro Police, Babinsa, and Municipal Police officers.
“Alhamdulillah, the vaccination was carried out smoothly. Health protocols were also strictly obeyed. Hopefully, this vaccination program can accelerate the community’s herd immunity while reducing illness or death rates if being exposed to the Covid-19," said Dr. Hendi.
