Cheap Food Operation provides a package of groceries including 10 kilograms of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, soy sauce, salt, and protein-based food such as eggs or canned fish. The package can be purchased by the community half from the normal prices.

In Jakarta, Cheap Food Operation is carried out in several branch offices. Program Coordinator of ACT Jakarta Region, Wuryantoro explains that Cheap Food Operation targets middle to lower people who are able to purchase food materials.

“As for why the price is much lower than normal, it is because the program is supported by the generosity from various parties. In addition to Generous Benefactors, the program is also supported by Indonesian Ulema Council,” said Wuryanto, Wednesday (10/27/2021).

ACT aims to present innovation as well as solutions by providing quality food supplies. “We are aware that food prices at the markets are unstable or tend to be expensive. Cheap Food Operation aims to help people afford quality food supply at an affordable price,” Wuryanto explained.[]
