ACTNews, GAZA – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) held another educational program for children with disabilities in Gaza. The beneficiaries were children from underprivileged families and children with disabilities. This assistance is expected to increase children's enthusiasm for learning.

Firdaus Guritno from ACT’s Global Humanity Response explained that this assistance was a form of support from the Indonesian people for the education of the Gazan children. "Especially for students with disabilities, we want them to have access to proper education," said Firdaus, Thursday (8/19/2021).

The students were very grateful to receive the assistance. While waving small Indonesian flags, they expressed their love and gratitude in sign language.

To welcome the new academic year in Gaza, ACT has initiated several programs to support the local children’s education, from school kit distribution to free shuttle service for students.

"Years of blockade have made life very difficult for the people of Gaza, and this also affects their education. Many school buildings have been converted to shelters for internal refugees. We hope that the assistance we provide can lighten their burden, "explained Firdaus.

Firdaus invited generous donors to continue supporting ACT in assisting Palestinian children. He hoped that the programs to support Palestine can continue with the support of the donors.[]
