ACTNews, BIMA – Despite the pandemic that has haunted this country for several months, the Eid Al-Adha celebration is several Indonesian regions was still as lively as ever. In fact, the difficult condition caused by the pandemic has inspired many people to share the happiness of qurbani to fellow Indonesians in need.
As in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Global Qurban - ACT distributed qurbani animals in almost all cities and regencies. About 200 qurbani animals were distributed from the day of Eid al-Adha to the third day past Eid. One of the qurbani distribution location areas was Ntonggu Village, Palibelo Subdistrict, Bima Regency.
"Among the qurbani distribution sites was the village of Ntonggu, where a recent fire burnt down 40 houses. The survivors are now living in temporary shelters made of tarpaulins. A head of cattle was delivered to the village, and all residents were enthusiastic about the qurbani, "said Lalu Muhammad Alfian, Global Qurban - ACT NTB Branch Manager, Tuesday (8/4).

Haji Muhammad, one of the community leaders in Ntonggu Village, appreciated the qurbani distribution from Global Qurban – ACT, and thanked the donors that have contributed. They are grateful that after a recent disaster that has terribly affected their lives, they can still gather and savor the qurbani meat together.
Alfian expressed his happiness to know that many of the needy in all corners of the country, especially in NTB, could taste the delicious qurbani meat packages given by the generous donors. In difficult times like now, people really need support.
"NTB is one of the targets for the qurbani meat distribution because there are still many of our brothers and sisters in remote areas who are less fortunate given the current pandemic that affected their livelihood. We hope that the benefactors can continue to support our brothers and sisters who are in need. Not only in this Eid Al-Adha season but also in other moments,” added Alfian.
Previously, after the earthquake that rocked Lombok and its surroundings in August 2018, Global Qurban - ACT distributed nearly 1,000 heads of cattle to all earthquake survivors in Lombok and on the island of Sumbawa. Almost all tasted the delicious qurbani meat at that time.
