ACTNews, JOMBANG REGENCY – Global Wakaf-ACT along with volunteers from the Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) chapter in Jombang distributed Quran copies to students at Al-Muhajirin Quran School in Mayangan Village, Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency. Dozens of Quran copies with the Global Wakaf-ACT brand were distributed on Monday (3/9/2022).

The school has 75 students who mostly come from the local neighborhood. Most of the students are orphans and children from underprivileged families so the students are not charged at all to study.

Ustaz Supriyanto, one of the teachers at Al-Muhajirin, explained that the new Quran copies mean so much for them. "Because we were still using old and tattered Quran copies. We didn’t have enough copies for all the students. Some of the copies were even badly torn,” he explained.

Ahsanul Kholikin from the Global Wakaf - Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Branch in Jombang hoped that the Quran distribution can be done in more locations in Jombang Regency to assist more Quran schools.

"Alhamdulillah. We hope that the Quran distribution will bring eternal rewards to the donors,” he prayed. []
