ACTNews, EAST JAKARTA – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) continues to promote the habit of breakfast through the Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation. This time, ACT and volunteers from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (ACT) held an act of kindness supported by benefactors at Islamic Elementary School (MI) Azziyadah, East Jakarta, Monday (11/29/2021).

Riri, a teacher at MI Azziyadah, welcomed the Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation (OGAI) program. For Riri, this action is helpful for students, especially at the same time providing education on the importance of breakfast.

“Thanks to ACT and MRI East Jakarta for the implementation of Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation at our school," she said.

Through Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation, ACT also distributed breakfast to MI Azzidayah students. The cooks cooked breakfast in ACT’s kitchen. The students also got milk and masks from ACT.

Moh Zaqi Romdoni from ACT East Jakarta Program team says that Indonesian Child Nutrition Operation promotes the habit of breakfast and campaigns for stunting awareness because children are prone to stunting.

“Through this program, we hope that people are aware of the dangers of stunting and prioritize breakfast. Hence, children can carry out activities well," said Zaqi.[]
