ACTNews, PALESTINE – After spending a month of Ramadan with various acts of worship, Muslims around the world celebrated the day of Eid Al-Fitr 1441 AH. Muslims in Palestine celebrated Eid on Sunday (5/24). On that day, ACT visited the patients at the Indonesian Clinic for Palestine. Hundreds of Eid packages that were decorated with several ornaments had been neatly arranged. The packages were to be given to the patients at the Indonesian Medical Clinic for Palestine and their families.

"As many as 550 people benefitted from the distribution of the Eid packages. Hopefully, the Eid gifts can ease the sadness of the patients and their families amid the pandemic and conflict,” said Said Mukkafiy from Global Humanity Response - ACT.

Previously, Eid gifts had also been given to the orphans and Quran students in Gaza. "The Eid packages that ACT provided contained chocolate, food items, and new clothes that the children can wear on Eid," added Said.

The Indonesian Medical Clinic in Gaza was still serving patients on the day of Eid. Many came to have their conditions checked. []
