ACTNews, MAKASSAR – On Thursday (7/22/2021), the second day of Tashreeq of the Eid ul-Adha 1442 AH, Global Qurban-ACT distributed hundreds of Qurbani meat packages to residents of Pandang Village, Pandang District, Makassar City.

“We can distribute Qurbani beef thanks to the Generous Benefactors. Hopefully, this assistance can benefit 200 families here,” explained Firman from Global Qurban-ACT South Sulawesi Team.

A lot of residents in Pandang Village work as scavengers. Therefore, they were targeted as the recipients of Qurbani meat distribution. “They rarely enjoy Qurbani meat at Eid ul-Adha, let alone perform qurbani. Their income is only enough to meet their basic needs,” added Firman.

Apart from Makassar, Global Qurban-ACT South Sulawesi also targets other regions regions. “We will also reach Pangkep, Wajo, Gowa, Soppeng, and Pinrang Regencies, as well as the Muslim convert village in Tana Toraja Regency. We ask for the Benefactors’ prayer so that this assistance can be delivered to them,” said Firman.[]
