ACTNews, YOGYAKARTA – The Sharing Day initiated by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) (11/11) was welcomed by the wider community. One of the participants was Harinah Yuli Eti from Khadijah Community Yogyakarta. On the Sharing Day, participated by purchasing qurbani animals through Global Qurban-Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT).
When asked why she participated in the Global Qurban Flash Sale, she explained that it was because she trusts Global Qurban - ACT as a distributor of qurbani animals. The upcoming Eid-ul-Adha 2020 will be Eti's third experience to perform qurbani through Global Qurban. Previously, in 2018, her qurbani was slaughtered in Somalia through Global Qurban. "Because I believe Global Qurban - ACT delivers the qurbani to the rightful beneficiaries, and also sends reports and pictures of the distribution," said Eti.
On the Sharing Day, ACT offers various programs, one of which is the Qurbani Flash Sale. On Monday (11/11), the price for one goat is IDR 1.1 million, cheaper than the Progressive Qurbani price in November that is IDR 1.25 million.
Initially, Eti planned to purchase the qurbani animals in November or December. However, upon receiving the news that ACT holds a Sharing Day which offers sacrificial animals at cheaper prices. "The price is cheaper. Some members of my community also purchased animals for the upcoming 2020 Eid-ul-Adha. We purchased five goats in total," she added.
Eti and her community were first introduced to ACT few years ago. She hoped that the various humanitarian programs that ACT have can help many people in need.
