ACTNews, TAIZ – Yemen is still experiencing a food crisis. In response to the crisis, Aksi Cepat Tanggap always does its best to support. On the first day of Ramadan, ACT distributed iftar packages to 350 people in Taiz city, Tuesday (4/13/2021).
“Humanitarian situation in Yemen is very vulnerable, and there are many obstacles that hamper the distribution of important supplies as foods, fuel, and medicines. Thus, we are encouraged to give assistance to our brothers and sisters in Yemen, so they can live a better life in this Ramadan,” said Said Mukaffiy from Global Humanity Response - ACT team.
Said added, the ready-to-eat food assistance would continue to be distributed during Ramadan. ACT aims to distribute 20,000 iftar packages in Yemen. Besides that, other aid packages such as staple food packages, Eid gifts, Muslim clothes for kids, and waqf wells will be implemented as well in this Ramadan.
“All of these programs can succeed with the support from Indonesian benefactors who care for our Muslim brothers and sisters in Yemen. Therefore, please support the programs by donating on this link indonesiadermawan.id,” added Said.
