First Time, Safari Subuh Provides Food in Al Barokah Mosque,Tanah Abang

Safari Subuh program from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) distributed hundreds of portions of ready-to-eat meals for free. The congregations and residents at Al Barokah Mosque, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, were grateful for this assistance.

ACTNews, CENTRAL JAKARTA – The call of Fajr prayer had just sounded. Along with that, the footsteps of the congregation began to fill the road to Al Barokah Mosque in the Village of Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/18/2021).

That fajr was awesome. Humanity Food Truck from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) visited Al Barokah Mosque to carry out Safari Subuh program. 

Mulyadi, on behalf of the Board of Al Barokah Mosque, appreciated this program. “I think this is the first time that an institution has a program for distributing food at dawn. Alhamdulillah, the congregation and residents feel grateful," said Mulyadi. He hopes that this action can continue and expand the benefits to build awareness for others.

Aat Soihat, Branch Manager of ACT Central Jakarta, Safari Subuh program from ACT is a joint effort to reap blessings, specifically maximizing the benefits of the fajr alms from the benefactors.

Alhamdulillah, we prayed Fajr prayer together with residents at Al Barokah Mosque. Then, we recited Surah Al Waqiah and listened to the preaching from representatives of community leaders. We also distributed hundreds of servings of warm ready-to-eat meals," he said.

Aat explained, hundreds of servings of free meals, cooked through Humanity Food Truck, will continue to accompany impoverished families in each mosque after performing Fajr prayer.

“Safari Subuh is full of gratitude and happiness for the residents around Al Barokah Mosque. Insha Allah, this action will continue to provide blessings and benefits for the wider community. We also ask for the prayers and support of benefactors through their best fajr alms," he added.[]
