ACTNews, SURABAYA – The community's concern for the survivors was still flowing after the emergency response period for dealing with the Semeru eruption. For example, on Wednesday (12/29/2021), the Communication Forum for the Director of Banking Compliance (FKDKP) sent donations through ACT East Java. This assistance will help ACT's ongoing recovery efforts in areas affected by the Semeru eruption.

Raden Widawati, the FKDKP representative in Surabaya, personally delivered humanitarian aid. She hopes that the victims of the Semeru eruption will endure the test.

"Hopefully, the area and residents affected by the eruption will recover quickly," Widawati hoped.

ACT appreciated humanitarian assistance from FKDKP. Ivan Indrajaya from ACT East Java Partnership team expressed his gratitude for FKDKP’s contribution to assisting the Semeru eruption survivors.

"Whatever is handed over by FKDKP, Insha Allah, will play an important role in efforts to restore the affected areas and lives of victims," he said.

ACT team will deliver FKDKP humanitarian assistance through the ACT Humanitarian Command Post in Lumajang's Candipuro and Pronojiwo Districts. The team also will distribute aid directly to victims who are dispersed across various evacuation areas through these posts. []
