ACTNews, BOGOR - Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bogor continues the Food Alms Gathering
Program at several locations, among which were the ACT Bogor Branch Office
which serves as the center of the Food Alms Gathering and the Food Alms Gathering
Point at Bantarjati on Friday (10/9).
In addition to
the beneficiaries who eagerly came to benefit from the food distribution, the
team actively handed over the food alms to the people around Corat-Coret Park
of Bogor City. "Because, in Corat-Coret Park, there are many informal
workers who make their living in the streets, including street clowns, beggars,
scavengers, and street buskers," said Khisnul Hasanah of ACT Bogor Program
Department.
One of the
beneficiaries was Asep who works as a street clown around Jalan Pandu Raya and
Taman Coret-Coret. "He said that his income has been stagnantly decreasing
during the pandemic. He must set aside some of his money to finance his child’s
mobile learning,” said Khisnul.
Asep was very
grateful for the assistance from ACT Bogor. In total, 150 people benefitted
from the food alms distribution. "Inshallah, in the future, we will
involve more teams to distribute staple food at several distribution points. We
hope that the Food Alms Gathering Points will benefit the community more
massively,” said Khisnul.
Khisnul hoped
that more donors can support this program that will cover more points in the
city of Bogor. “This program was made available thanks to the support of the generous
donors. We hope that, by involving more benefactors, kindness will multiply. You
can support the Food Alms Gathering program by donating through Indonesia
Dermawan website and BNI Syariah account number 6600000981 in the name of Aksi
Cepat Tanggap Foundation," Khisnul asked. []
