Food Packages Distributed to Underprivileged People in Cirebon

Food Packages were distributed to underprivileged people in Kesambi District, Cirebon City. This program was a form of concern of benefactors to those in need in the midst of a pandemic.

ACTNews, CIREBON – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) distributed 250 food packages to people in Kesambi District, Cirebon City, Thursday (4/1/2021). This activity is part of the National Food Alms Movement.

Started at eight o’clock in the morning, the beneficiaries began to arrive at the location of the distribution. Some of them were street vendors, pedicab drivers, and housewives.

“We provide food packages to underprivileged people. This program is a form of benefactors concern to support people’s food needs in the midst of a pandemic,” said Ogie Nugraha Adhiwijaya from MRI-ACT Cirebon.

Ogie Nugraha hoped this program would continue in Ramadan. National Food Alms Movement was expected to reach more locations and had a big impact.[]
