Free Food Operation Helps Meeting Orphans’ Nutrition Needs in Pasirkaliki

ACTNews, CIMAHI – The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost the entire element of people including children. Nutrition fulfillment for children is now such a challenging mission due to the increased potential for malnutrition during the pandemic.

Responding to the situation, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) and Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) Cimahi distributed food aid to dozens of orphans through Free Food Operation in SDN Pasirkaliki Mandiri, Pasirkaliki Village, Pasirkaliki District, Cimahi City, Wednesday (9/29/2021).

“Our target for this implementation is children. We also hope to be able to reach all people affected by the pandemic especially orphans. Hopefully, ACT’s benefactors can also get the benefits, rewards, and blessings for their donated alms,” said Sopian SAS, Branch Manager of ACT Cimahi.

Henita, the committee of Mandiri Pasirkaliki Elementary School appreciated ACT for the assistance implementation. “The food aid program for the orphans is very beneficial during the pandemic. Hopefully, this assistance can continue to be implemented for other orphans in Cimahi City,” said Sopian.[]
