ACTNews, BEKASI REGENCY – The Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet. Various ways have been done to overcome it, including limiting community activities. Many people, especially people with low-income economies, feel the impact of the activity restriction.

With the spirit of helping others and inviting others to do good things, Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bekasi Regency continues to intensify Free Food Operation program. Saturday (8/7/2021), ACT carried out Free Food Operation in Sukaragam Village, Serang Baru District, and Karangmulya, Bojongmangu District in the southern area of Bekasi Regency. Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia volunteers directly visited the beneficiaries to send Waqf Drinking Water and Waqf Rice.

"This Free Food Operation has been started since the beginning of the pandemic in Indonesia. Until now, we have continued to expand its benefits. The benefactors have an important role in all of these actions,” explained Setyo Pambudi from ACT Bekasi Regency Program team.

Engaging generosity

Free Food Operation program always involves the generosity of the community through ACT. The collected funds are used for widespread kindness actions, and the number continues to grow.

“The community can be involved in every ACT action. The best alms can be sent directly through Bank Syariah Indonesia account 7164166621 on behalf of ACT Bekasi Regency or through the official website of Indonesia Dermawan Kabupaten Bekasi," added Setyo.[]
