ACTNews, JERUSALEM – Since the attack of the Al Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinians in Jerusalem continue to safeguard the mosque. It’s reported that the armed attack from the zionist forces has caused 20 fatalities and 520 injuries.
Apart from the prayers sent to the Palestinians who are struggling against the colonialism of Israeli forces, other kinds of support also come to help their struggles to reclaim their rightful land, one of which is in the form of a public kitchen from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) funded by the generosity of the Indonesians.
The kitchen has been supplied with various kinds of staple foods, including beef from the cattle that were slaughtered on Tuesday (5/11/2021). “Alhamdulillah, the cattle from Alghadeer Farm, Old Town Jerusalem were butchered to provide beef for the Al Aqsa public Kitchen. This assistance is especially for the protectors of Al Aqsa called murabitun,” said Said Mukaffiy from Global Humanity Response (GHR)-ACT team.
The target is to provide around 6,000 portions of ready-to-eat meals which will be distributed several days ahead. Ziyad, one of ACT’s partners who joined in the distribution, was very grateful for the assistance delivered to the murabitun.
“We are thankful to Indonesia and its people for the generosity that they serve us the meat. At the moment, Israel is attacking Gaza, resulting in tens of casualties,” said Ziyad.
Ziyad was also happy because ACT and Indonesian people have never stopped to help their struggle against Israel colonialism. “ACT and Indonesian people have never forgotten the struggle of Al-Quds and its people in their difficult situation. There has been so much assistance, such as distribution of clothes, Qurbani meat, iftar packages for those who are fasting, and meals from the public kitchen. This was only some of the many kinds of assistance given by ACT to the people of Al-Quds in this critical situation,” said Ziyad,
