– The Indonesian Public Kitchen in Gaza continued its humanitarian endeavor
by cooking meal packages for the people of Gaza. These meals were then
distributed in mid-December to meet the food need of the people of Gaza.
"Insha Allah,
these meal packages will keep them full and warm amid the freezing winter. Warm
food prevents body temperature from dropping drastically below the normal
temperature," said Said Mukaffiy from Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT)’s Global
Humanity Response, Monday (12/20/2021).
As many as 930 Gazan residents received these meal packages. The meal distribution that involved the Humanity Food Truck covered the areas of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in North Gaza to the Ash-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City.

"The
recipients, especially the IDPs, were very grateful for the meal packages. Most
of them are poor families without steady jobs. To meet their daily needs, they
are very dependent on aid from the international community," Said
explained. []
