Friends of Indonesian Teachers Appreciate Teachers in Mamuju

ACTNews, MAMUJU – Global Zakat-ACT visited Alutfiyah Islamic Junior High School in Taludu Village, Simboro District, Mamuju Regency. They provided assistance for teachers in the form of living expenses through Friends of Indonesian Teachers program.

Ade Putra from Global Zakat- ACT Mamuju team explained that Alutfiyah was one of the schools affected by the earthquake in West Sulawesi in early January. A total of 11 teachers in this school were beneficiaries of Friends of Indonesian Teachers program.

“Teachers in Alutfiyah Islamic Junior High School have to teach in the midst of pandemic and lingering fear of earthquake,” said Ade on Thursday (3/26/2021). Alutfiyah Islamic Junior High School conducts some learning activities online.

The principal of Alutfiyah Islamic Junior High School, Muslim, expressed his gratitude to the Global Zakat-ACT team and benefactors who paid attention to the teachers in disaster areas. “We express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to ACT, benefactors, and Friends of Indonesian Teachers for the assistance that has been given to our teachers in Alutfiyah Islamic Junior High School,” he said. He hoped that people in West Sulawesi could participate through Global Zakat- ACT in supporting honorary teachers through Friends of Indonesian Teachers program.[]
