Generosity Delivers Free Meal Operation to Tasikmalaya Regency

Assisted by the local youth organization, ACT carried out Free Meal Operation in Dawagung Village, Rajapolah, Tasikmalaya Regency.

ACTNews, TASIKMALAYA REGENCY – AKsi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Tasikmalaya Regency carried out another Free Meal Operation. This time, the program took action in Dawagung Village, Rajapolah District, Saturday (9/18/2021). The distribution was also assisted by Karang Taruna Pandawa which is the local youth organization.

There were hundreds of distributed meal packages produced by Saung Panyawah. In addition, ACT also distributed 150 kilograms of Waqf Rice as well as hundreds of eggs to Dawagung residents.

Diki Zakaria from ACT Tasikmalaya Regency Program team says that Free Meal Operation is ACT’s program to overcome the pandemic impacts in the society especially considering that Dawagung Village has many underprivileged and elderly residents. The implementation also targets daily workers affected by the pandemic.

Karang Taruna Pandawa warmly welcomed the program. Ade Rusmawa, the representative of Karang Taruna Pandawa thanked ACT for Free Meal Operation that was carried out in his village.

“This is a positive activity,” said Ade.

The activity was carried out smoothly and was lasted for three hours. In addition to the local youth organization, the meal distribution was also supported by BJB Syariah Ciawi, Herlina Craft, SBSI, Pepes, and Agnia Care.[]
