ACTNews, JEMBER – On Eid ul-Adha 1442 AH, Global Qurban-ACT Jember distributed Qurbani meat to all regions of Ex Besuki Residency. Meat from dozens of Qurbani cows was distributed to four regions including Jember, Bondowoso, Situbondo, and Banyuwangi on Thursday (7/22/2021).

Branch Manager of ACT Jember, Zaky Noerahman said that compared to last year, Global Qurban-ACT has expanded its Qurbani distribution range. Last year, the distribution was carried out in only two districts, namely Jember and Bondowoso. Meanwhile, this year two regencies are added, namely Banyuwangi and Situbondo.

"In addition, the number of distributed Qurbani animals also has increased. This surge indicates that people increasingly believe in Global Qurban-ACT to manage their Qurbani, and Insha Allah, we have conveyed this mandate to people who really need it,” said Zaky.

Global Qurban-ACT is collaborating with Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) in each region to expand the distribution which targeted students and residents around Islamic boarding school areas, impoverished people, and people affected by the Emergency PPKM.

The Beneficiaries were grateful for the distributed meat including KH Toha Maksum, the Principle of Al-Islah Islamic Boarding School in Bondowoso as well as a member of MUI Bondowoso. “This collaboration between Global Qurban-ACT and MUI Bondowoso is a very good move that can be improved for wider benefits to the people in need," he said.

There is also Khoetma, another beneficiary from Cato Hamlet, Petung Village, Curahdami District, Bondowoso Regency who lives in a rural area that is rarely reached by assistance distribution. “Alhamdulillah, this year, I can receive Qurbani meat. The residents here can barely perform Qurbani so that Qurbani meat distribution is also rare,” said Khoetma.[]
