Global Wakaf-ACT and ZIS Rohis Lintasarta Empower Dozens of MSMEs in Central Jakarta

As many as 25 MSMEs received capital assistance and business assistance from the collaboration of Global Wakaf-ACT with ZIS Rohis Lintasarta. This assistance targets business owners in three districts in Central Jakarta.

ACTNews, JAKARTA – Global Wakaf-ACT, together with ZIS Rohis Lintasarta, handed over capital assistance to MSME owners. The beneficiaries were from three districts in Central Jakarta, namely Kemayoran, Sawah Besar, and Tanah Abang. 

Fatiyah Azizah from the Global Wakaf-ACT Team revealed, in assisting, Global Wakaf-ACT, together with ZIS Rohis Lintasarta, had conducted an assessment and verification directly to the business location. The initial assistance was then given at the end of July and continued in the second phase this September.

“After the beneficiaries receive initial assistance, we will do monitoring and evaluation every two months as consideration for the provision of the second phase of assistance," said Fatiyah, Thursday (9/23/2021).

In addition to business capital assistance, Global Wakaf-ACT and ZIS Lintasarta also provide intensive assistance to the beneficiaries. Every two weeks, the team carries out group mentoring and individual monitoring every month.

“There are three values ​​ in the mentoring process, namely the value of spiritual motivation, character building, and business management. Hopefully, after participating in this program, MSME owners will not only focus on gaining profit but also have a generous entrepreneurial spirit to make many good deeds from their business,” added Fatiyah.

The beneficiaries also felt that these stages had a good impact on their business starting from increasing consumer interest to good financial statements.

Nurmansyah is one of the beneficiaries of business assistance. The man, usually called Aca, started his business as a Sarikaya bread reseller one year ago after he decided to quit his previous job. In two months, Aca's business was often losing money.

Aca received assistance from Global Wakaf-ACT. Aca started to produce his srikaya bread with three variants: baked, fried, and steamed. He can improve his financial statements so he can predict the amount of bread every day. He bought a mixer that makes his work more efficient up to four times from the capital assistance.
