ACTNews, MAGELANG – Arya Yudistira (17) has to struggle during the pandemic because he can’t find a job to provide for his family. His high school diploma was withheld by the school because he hasn’t paid his school fees.  while diplomas cannot be taken because of the unpaid school fees.

This is what happened to Arya Yudistira (17), a teenager from Wringinputih Hamlet, Kanggan Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency.

However, the teenager who lives in the Borobudur District in Magelang Regency never gives up. With some money he had, he opened a stall in front of his house in 2020.

Fruit juices, instant drinks, and tempura become Arya's mainstay to financially help his parents and wife that he married one month ago. "My business stopped for a while this year because I ran out of capital,” said Arya when met by Global Wakaf – ACT on Monday (9/20/2021).

Global Wakaf-ACT rewards Arya's enthusiasm by providing business capital and assistance through the Waqf for MSMEs program.

Arya was happy with the business assistance from the benefactors. "With the capital assistance from this program, I plan to buy a press machine to put my branding on the packaging of the drinks. I also want to buy more ingredients,” said Arya.

Besides Arya, Global Wakaf-ACT also provided business capital to another MSME owner in Magelang. Hopefully, the MSMEs can get through the pandemic and even continue to grow in the future. []
