ACTNews, SEMARANG – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Central Java and ACT Semarang collaborated with Grab in the Grab Berkah program. This program invited customers to donate food through the 'Donation with Grab' menu in the GrabFood application.

"Grab Berkah began with an idea to make a positive contribution to the community through the Grab for Good program. This program is not only for the public but also for our partners, driver-partners, and Grab users. Grab for Good has been around since last year. We carried out Grab Berkah (part of Grab for Good) for an entire month during Ramadan this year," said Corina Hidayat, General Manager of GrabFood Central Java.

We gave one portion of every order of two servings of food from the menu to brothers and sisters in need. As GrabFood collaboration partners, ACT and the Indonesian Volunteer Community (MRI) will distribute the food to those in need.

Distribution took place in two separate locations. Darul Karim Islamic boarding school and orphanage was the first location, and the second was a scavenger village in Jatibarang Landfill. Beneficiaries enthusiastically welcomed the assistance and expressed gratitude to the donors.

This program is supported by 1,424 donations from merchant partners and Grab app users. Corina appreciated the collaboration with ACT on this occasion.

"This is the second time we have worked with ACT. We made contributions to the Jatibarang Landfill and the Darul Karim Orphanage. We are delighted that GrabFood can collaborate with ACT to carry out this program and its assistance in carrying out charitable actions for the people of Central Java. Thank you again, ACT Team," she added. []
