ACTNews, SIAK – Islamic Elementary School (MDTA) Nur Ilahi is in Simpang Belutu Village, Kandis District, Siak Regency. This madrasa is one of the centers of religious education activities for the community around Simpang Betutu. The number of MDTA Nur Ilahi students is increasing day by day.

However, the development of madrasa facilities does not follow the development of students. The madrasa building is still an old building, although it has been partially renovated. Meanwhile, the Quran used by the students every day is limited and more damaged.

To support the struggle of MDTA Nur Ilahi students to memorize the Quran, Global Wakaf-ACT collaborated with Hayrat Yardim to provide new Quran copies on Wednesday (10/25/2021). Rhena Fahreni from the ACT Riau Team hopes that the new Quran copies can encourage the students to memorize the Quran.

“By honoring and supporting the memorizers of the Quran, Insha Allah, the benefactors of this program will get the reward, both in this world and in the hereafter," said Rhena.

Zulhelmi, Principal of MDTA Nur Ilahi, expressed his gratitude for the Waqf Quran assistance from ACT Riau. "Alhamdulillah, the students can learn using the new and best Quran. We thank the donors who have provided this assistance to us," he said. []
