ACTNews, MYANMAR – In the last 10 days of Ramadan, Aksi Cepat Tanggap, in collaboration with Hayrat, brought happiness to the Rohingya IDPs in Rakhine. Delicious iftar dishes were prepared for the Rohingyas.

Fresh ingredients were prepared in big cauldrons. Chicken, vegetables, etc were cooked and packaged before being distributed to the IDPs. The iftar distribution was carried out from May 18 to 20 in Sittwee and Rathedaung Districts. The Rohingya IDPs were happy to receive iftar packages.

In addition to the iftar packages, ACT also provided staple food packages to a number of families in Sittwe.

"We provided iftar packages to 600 Rohingya IDPs in Myanmar and staple food packages to 300 families," said Firdaus Guritno from Global Humanity Response (GHR) - ACT.
