Humanitarian Aid Raised by Fadil Jaidi-Kitabisa Brings Smiles of Displaced Gazans

ACTNews, GAZA – An Indonesian social media personality Fadil Jaidi together with Kitabisa raised humanitarian assistance in the form of food aid for people in Gaza City and Jabalia. The assistance, which was sent through Aksi Cepat Tanggap, was distributed on Monday (5/17/2021).

ACT’s volunteers in Gaza directly delivered food packages, which included nuts, sugar, jam, biscuits, flour, to residents' houses. They ensured that the mandate of Indonesian citizens reached the beneficiaries.

Said Mukaffiy from ACT’s Global Humanity Response team explained that a hundred food packages were delivered directly to the displaced Gazans. They expressed their gratitude for this assistance.

Alhamdulillah, ACT together with Kitabisa, and Fadil Jaidi took part in the humanitarian action. Currently, we are delivering food aid for families affected by the Israeli attack,” said Mukaffiy, Tuesday (5/18/2021).

Previously, Fadil Jaidi made a campaign to help Palestine on May 11, 2021, through the Kitabisa crowdfunding page. Fadil entrusted the aid that reached more than IDR 7 billion on Tuesday (5/18/2021) through Aksi Cepat Tanggap.

The assistance from generous benefactors will be distributed in the form of regular food assistance, shelter, medical clinic and ambulance operational services, drinking water assistance, and waqf wells.

The condition of Gaza as of Tuesday has not improved. Air raids that hit residents' houses were still ongoing. 212 have been killed, including 61 children and 36 women. Meanwhile, 1,500 Gazans were injured. []
