ACTNews, TASIKMALAYA – Again, the JNE Tasikmalaya is collaborating with the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). On Wednesday (6/9/2021), JNE Tasikmalaya handed over a unit of Humanitarian Car to ACT. The handover was carried out along with the financial assistance distribution to the Quran memorizers and orphans in Rumah Tahfidz Yatim Nurul Millah, in Tasikmalaya City.
The Humanitarian Car will be operated to facilitate the humanitarian aid distribution to the people in need. The Branch Head of JNE Tasikmalaya Gerry Mardhani says that the Humanitarian Car is the realization of JNE’s concern to the community, and aims to facilitate the assistance distribution to the remote areas of Tasikmalaya. “This car aims to ease the mobility of people’s generosity to be distributed quickly,” said Gerry in his greeting speech.
The Humanitarian Car is obviously very useful for the mobility of ACT’s and MRI volunteers’ actions, especially in the Tasikmalaya region amid the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Branch Manager of ACT Tasikmalaya Taufik Perdana warmly welcomed the humanitarian vehicle. Taufik said that ACT is very open to humanitarian collaboration to help the community, especially during the pandemic difficulties that affect various sectors of life.
“The presence of this Humanitarian Car will facilitate the assistance access to the people in various areas in Tasikmalaya. Hopefully, what JNE did can be an inspiration for other acts of kindness,” said Taufik.
In the handover event of the humanitarian vehicle, the ACT and JNE Tasikmalaya also carried out a financial and staple food assistance distribution to the students.
