Humanity Food Bus Supports World Cleanup Day Event in Bekasi

Aksi Cepat Tanggap also supports the World Cleanup Day event by distributing hundreds of ready-to-eat meals to the volunteers of the environmental activist community involved.

ACTNews, BEKASI REGENCY Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Bekasi Regency also enlivened the peak of the World Cleanup Day (WCD), Saturday (9/18/2021). ACT Bekasi Regency, the Bekasi Regency Government, and various environmental activist communities held cleaning activities and tree planting.

On this year's World Cleanup Day (WCD), ACT Bekasi Regency provided 300 ready-to-eat meals from Humanity Food Bus. The team distributed directly to the volunteers involved.

Dani Ramdan, the Regent of Bekasi Regency, attended this event. He emphasized to the people of Bekasi Regency to keep the environment clean in their daily lives, not just taking place at the World Cleanup Day event.

“We will carry our cleaning activity like this every month in all villages and sub-districts in Bekasi Regency," he said in his speech.

Dani also had the opportunity to see and ride the Humanity Food Bus directly. He revealed that this humanitarian vehicle belonging to ACT is very luxurious and sophisticated. He hopes that there will be another humanitarian collaboration between ACT and the Bekasi Regency Government.

Joko Utomo, Branch Manager of ACT Bekasi Regency, expressed his gratitude for the trust given by the Bekasi Regency Government to ACT to participate in the peak of the 2021 World Cleanup Day (WCD) event.

“This World Cleanup Day is a great event to campaign for the importance of a clean and healthy environment. Alhamdulillah, at the peak of this WCD event, we from ACT Bekasi Regency were able to provide lunch for the volunteers,” said Joko.
