ACTNews, ACEH TAMIANG – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT)’s Humanity Food Truck continues to support the Free Meal Operation held in various Indonesian cities this October. On Friday (10/15/2021), the mobile kitchen produced a thousand meal packages for the local residents around the Tribune Field behind the Aceh Tamiang Regent's Office.

The meal package distribution took place from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time. Volunteers from Masyarakat Relawan Indonesia (MRI) and other partners took place in producing and distributing the meal packages. This activity was attended and officially opened by the Aceh Tamiang Regional Secretary, Arsa.

ACT Langsa Branch Manager Ryanda Saputra said the Free Meal Operation that ACT held using the Humanity Food Truck was one of the efforts to reduce the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on food availability. Equipped with cooking appliances and kitchen utensils, the truck serves as a mobile kitchen that can produce hundreds of meal packages.

"Thank you to all the donors. This is a manifestation of our generosity in dealing with the impact of the pandemic. Insha Allah, more meal distributions will be held," said Ryanda.

The meal distribution also benefitted worshippers who had just finished the Friday Prayer.

Previously, Humanity Food Truck had distributed meal packages at several points in ACT Langsa's working area. The mobile kitchen will stop at several areas in Aceh to spread kindness to more cities in Aceh. []
