ACTNews, TANGERANG — Humanity Rice Truck and Humanity Food Truck visited At-Taqwa Mosque on Jalan Citra Raya Boulevard, Mekar Bakti Village, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency, Saturday (5/2/2021). These ACT's two vehicles carried 250 sacks of Waqf Rice and 500 portions of iftar dishes for underprivileged people and congregants.

The joy of breaking the fast in togetherness could be seen in this two-story mosque. The cozy environment around the mosque added to the peaceful atmosphere. The children, youth, women, and the elderly sat together 20 minutes before iftar time. The mosque committee provided sweet drinks, dates, and cakes as appetizers, followed by the iftar packages from ACT. The congregation enjoyed food under a tent that had been prepared by the committee in the mosque yard.

“This time, Humanity Food Truck and Rice Truck visited Tangerang Regency. The people were excited about this activity. Hundreds of people came and enjoy iftar dishes provided. We hope there will be more programs like this that will have a positive impact on the community,” said Ridwan from the Program team of ACT Tangerang Regency.

The residents who attended also received the Waqf Rice from ACT which was brought directly by the Humanity Rice Truck. The beneficiaries of the Waqf Rice, who are economically underprivileged, expressed their gratitude for the food aid. []
